Artists in Our Midst is a collective of artists from the communities of West Point Grey, Kitsilano and Dunbar/Kerrisdale, on the west side of Vancouver, B.C. It is a grassroots organization run by the participating artists.

Every spring, Artists in Our Midst hosts an open studio tour for the public. The event begins with a much anticipated Opening Night Preview of art works by participating artists, followed by 2 days of Open Studios, during which the public is invited to visit individual artists at their studios. This is a very popular. well attended community event. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet local artists and other art patrons.

Get involved. You don’t have to be an artist to be creative and to help out.

Artists in Our Midst is seeking volunteers to lend a hand at its Group Preview Exhibition Evening: Thursday, April 23, 2009. Assistance is needed with a variety of tasks from providing information at the reception desk to helping with signs, public art displays, and similar event-related responsibilities.
