My goal is to have my photography viewed as both a documentary about nature and an inspiration for my poetry. I am primarily a nature photographer, and during my ramblings here and there, I record the wonder of nature that is the backdrop of our daily lives. I also see those earthly spectacles as poetry and use my camera lens to record that perspective. I look for variations of form and colour, and light and shadow. I seek to capture that perfect moment: that intersection of light and landscape that will create an intimate reaction from the viewer.

While my primary artistic training was in dance and writing, photography has become my new expression. It allows me to mirror sentiment back to us through nature:
When we dream, the clouds soar . . .
In need of comfort, the forests soothe . . .
If we lose heart, the mountains rise to glorious heights . . .
