My paintings are a reflection of my social experiences. Conceptually, they are the “secrets” I still keep about self-image, change and human expectation. My latest abstract and representational work is informed by personal conversation and references both classical literature and contemporary media.

I am an educator and an emerging artist born and raised in British Columbia. I began my professional painting career in 2007 in Turkey where I exhibited for two years with local and international artists. Today I am immersed in Vancouver’s local colour.
