Edward Peck
For many years, I have experimented and produced works of art in many mediums. A few years ago, I made the transition into digital photography, and this has been a transformative experience. I find myself in the middle of an artistic renaissance that allows an artist vast possibilities for the creation and execution of images. There is a flow to digital photography that moves beyond the technical elements, allowing an instinctive and timeless interaction with the environment in which colours, shapes, designs and tones emerge to transform perceptions into something extraordinary.
I have been creating and studying art for almost forty years. I have a BA/BFA and a MA in counselling psychology. I have created works in batik, silkscreen, etchings, line drawings, oil and acrylic painting, temperas, cloisonné, fresco, photography, short film, books, digital images, watercolour, and I am sure a few more. I have also studied under Tony Onley, Richard Prince, Herb Gilbert, Lionel Thomas, Gordon Smith and others.
