I have always been involved in the arts. As a child, I loved to draw. Years later, I painted in oils with Ann Kipling and Gerald Tyler at his studio on Georgia Street. I have always had a business, recently Liberty Interiors and then, J Interiors. I have worked as an interior designer, but always found time to keep my finger on the pulse of the art community.

I moved to Mexico and studied sculpture at the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende. After returning to Vancouver, I realized that sculpture would always be a part of my life. I have been involved with the medium ever since. My idea of a great time is studio space, a pot of clay, and a few tools.
