Loree Manson
Art provides me windows into the realms of dreams, feelings, imagination, and visions. These realms create an artistic license for the release of my creative urges. I use paint, paper, canvas, glue, medium, and other found materials to express my creativity. My art making is an organic, cyclic, and evolving process that blends the intuitive, transformative, and technical elements.
As an artist, instructor, and certified art therapist, I have exhibited and taught adults and children for the past thirty-five years. I received my training and degrees from the Vancouver School of Art, the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. I have had numerous exhibitions and have sold my work internationally. My art is exhibited in private collections in Canada and abroad. As well, I continue to teach art to small classes of adults, with the emphasis on intuition and self-discovery.
