For the past three years, I have studied the influence of light on landscapes and objects. I have concentrated on medium size oil paintings. Over the years, I developed a rather loose and expressive style. I also developed a new style of collage, sometimes in a very large format, incorporating grass, charcoal, leaves and soil. In addition, I create sculptures using various kinds of rock.

I was born in Germany where I had some formal arts education. I came to Canada in 1984. After my arrival in Canada, I began painting in oils, in formats as large as 36” x 48.” I have worked in various media including: oil, acrylics, clay, plaster, cement and stone.
