Pnina Granirer
My latest works are based on images of the colourful colonial streets of Guanajuato. But these are manipulated dreams, invented colours, streets that don’t exist, places of the imagination. These works were a journey of discovery, excitement and infinite pleasure for me. I hope that they will provide the viewers an equally rewarding experience.
It has been over fifty years since I embarked on my art-making journey. My work has been shown locally, nationally and internationally, lastly in 2009 at the Museo Salvador de Allende in Santiago, Chile. My works are in collections of Public Galleries such as the Glenbow Museum in Calgary as well as in private collections. I am the co-founder of Artists in our Midst and have organized Philosophers Art Cafes since 2005.
