My art and teaching embrace ancient and contemporary world cultures overlaid with song and dance, merging the power of Queen Nefertiti with the spirit of Carmen Miranda. My desire to celebrate the Everyday – Every Day is expressed through my colourful hand built pottery. Stream of consciousness drawings on my pots have inspired evocative, exotic, figurative sculptures, wearable art and paintings.

My work is exhibited, collected and published internationally. Recent highlights include: the solo exhibit, with video, “Tap to the Muse” in which I tap dance amongst my nine life size sculptures, and a return engagement to Skopelos, the Greek island where Mamma Mia was filmed, to present "Mia Muse,” a ceramics workshop in 2010. My “Motion Pitchers” were presented to nominees in top categories for 2008 Academy Awards to nominees in top categories for 2008 Academy Awards.
