Can there be a new style expressing what we are today, one that does not use the forms of the past? Until the 19th century, the antique forms of expressions were dominant, then followed one -ism after the other. Can we still find something new that expresses ourselves? Let's try!

I was born in Germany having some formal arts education. I came to Canada in 1984. Arrived in Canada, I began painting in oils, did other things. I have worked in various media including: oil, acrylics, clay, plaster, cement, stone and glass mosaic. For the past few years, I have studied the influence of light on landscapes and objects. I have concentrated on medium size oil paintings often done entirely with a knife. I have developed a rather loose and expressive style in painting. I create sculptures using various kinds of rock or concrete. Recently I started glass mosaic work.
