Introduction

Artist in our Midst is a grass roots organization run by the participating artists who share their resources and talents with the intent of giving something back to their neighbourhoods. Over the years this exciting event has grown to include over 70 artists who open their studios to the public each spring in 3 different west side neighbourhoods. We welcome applications from working professional artists* who live in these 3 neighbourhoods to join us this year. The Event begins with a much anticipated public Art Opening, then there are 2 days of Open Artist Studios. This is a very popular well attended community event and a wonderful opportunity to meet and work with your neighbours and show your Art.
