ABOUT camille
I am an Okanagan based artist and teacher working in diverse mediums including oil, acrylic, charcoal, and ink. The natural world and the human experience are my greatest sources of inspiration and I never tire of exploring various aspects of these themes in all areas of life, but especially my artistic life. My painting style is greatly influenced by the impressionists using lost and found edges and the nuanced interplay between bold and neutral colour. My drawing style is a spontaneous response to my surroundings and experiences and I try my best to capture the place or the people as I see them.
