ABOUT Olga
I am a visual artist and writer. I work in several mediums: mixed media, painting, sculpture, digital photo collage and photography. In addition to having multiple solo and group shows for the past thirty two years following my graduation from Emily Carr, I have written three books: Graffiti Alphabet, A Whisper Across Time, my family’s story of the Holocaust told through prose, art and poetry, and DEAR ARLO - letters to my grandson. a memoir, my response to the circumstances of my life, through art, poetry, stories, even recipes. At the heart of the book are letters to my grandson Arlo. I create art because the process allows me to connect with something greater than myself resulting in a feeling of dipping into magic.
