ABOUT shirley
All my life I have been inspired by my five senses: sight, touch, smell, hearing and taste. These senses inform my love of jewelry crafting, fabric dyeing and photography!
I make silver and copper jewelry, beaded pieces, ecological, ice dyed and acrylic ink silk, cotton, wool and linen shawls and scarves. I also make my photos into photo cards - fleurs primarily. At rough edged I want you to feel what I do when I create pieces. I want you to feel connected to the design, feel and texture of your very own rough edged original. I believe wearing jewelry, shawls and scarves tells a story of who you really are and should embody an element of pleasure and discovery within yourself.
I have taken many workshops on all of the above. I am retired with a 6 year old granddaughter.
